Light up the Night

Last year our neighborhood started a new tradition. Instead of the stress of neighbor gifts we can donate, by way of gift card, to a needy family in the neighborhood. The first Monday night in December we all get together and place our gift cards in a box. The circle we meet in is decorated with Christmas lights and all sorts of wonderful decorations. It is such a fun time getting together with neighbors by a fire pit and drinking hot chocolate. I Love this new tradition and we look are looking forward to participating in it each year.
